Club Re-opening Wednesday 2nd December @ 8am - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all safe and well and looking forward to getting back on the courts from tomorrow.

Apologies for not letting you know yesterday if there will be any changes when we re-open compared to how the Club was being run in October before Lockdown 2. I was waiting on full guidance from the LTA but this hasn't materialised as of yet so I am going off the summary grid.

Please use the following link if you would like to see the grid:-

In short the only real change is:

The Clubhouse and bar will be closed. You can only enter the Clubhouse to use the toilets, turn the floodlights on and enter a box league/handicap tournament result on the noticeboard (Masks must be worn). Please don't get changed in the changing rooms and no bags are allowed to be left inside. Coaches, staff and committee members are the only exception to this.

With the clubhouse being closed and in the event of bad weather please can players shelter in their car and not the clubhouse.

No tennis activities are currently affected and everything will resume from tomorrow.

Finally, and the area I am a little concerned about is people congregating before playing. The LTA guidance clearly states you should not be mixing with players you are not playing tennis with. I appreciate how difficult this is but please respect this at all times. To help this please could everybody try and arrive at the Club no more than 5 minutes before their allotted time of play.

If anybody has any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks

Andrew
