CAR PARKING/MEMBERSHIP - PLEASE READ

CAR PARK

As I'm sure you're all aware the Saturday Morning Junior Tennis sessions 11am - 12 Noon is really busy at the moment and we are proactively looking into ways to be able to spread the children out so they can hit more tennis balls. As you all know the car park at the club unfortunately isn't very big and gets full quite easily. Over the past few weeks we've had a few complaints from neighbours about cars parked where they shouldn't be and so I just wanted to remind you or let you know that the club is on a private estate and you can't park on the roads within the estate. In the past we've had members/visitors cars who have received parking tickets because their car was parked on the estate roads and we definitely don't want this to happen to you.

On the map above it shows the location of the Tennis Club. If you can't park in the car park because it's full, the nearest road you can park on is Vermont Drive and then it's less than a 5 minute walk to the Tennis Club.

Please note you can't park on:

The Nookery, Homelands Avenue, South View, Appletrees, Manor Road, Willowhayne Avenue, Seaview Avenue, The Way or Westfield Avenue.

We would ask that if you live close to the club please could you try and cycle or walk and if you are coming in the car and don't mind a short walk please could you park on Vermont Drive.

MEMBERSHIP

As I've said above Saturday mornings are really busy and so for the time being the club has put a hold on new enquiries interested in the Saturday morning sessions. We currently have 10-15 juniors who have been trialling the session so I would be grateful if, as parents, you can decide whether you will sign them up or not as members and then as a club we can decide whether to start accepting new enquires again.
