Mini/Junior Tennis - Please Read

Hi Parents

You should have received your child's membership renewal via email on Monday 4th March. Please remember renewals are due by the 31st March.

Looking ahead we have a busy summer, therefore I just wanted to let you all know the events we have planned so you can put some dates in your diary.

Tennis Camps

Our very popular Tennis Camps will be running in the Easter Holidays, May Half-Term, Summer Holidays and October Half-Term. Look out for the posters in the clubhouse or information in the Head Coach Bulletin.

Sussex Youth League - April/May/June

We have entered teams into the above event in the following age groups

8 & Under Mixed
9 & Under Mixed
10 & Under Mixed
12 & Under Boys
14 & Under Boys A & B
14 & Under Girls
16 & Under Boys

We will contact you directly if your child has been selected to play for any of the club teams.

Play your way to Wimbledon

Boys & Girls Singles Tournament - Saturday 13th April - 4.30pm - 7.30pm - £6 per player

All players must be 14 & Under and born between 2010 - 2013. They must also have a ITF World Tennis Number between 23.0 & 40.9. Winners of both events go through to the County Finals which take place on the 13-14 July. More details to follow later on the week.

Free Coaching for parents - May/June/July

Sometime during May/June/July there will be free coaching for parents running at the same time as the Children's Coaching on a Saturday Morning. If you have ever wanted to give tennis a go then this is your chance - more details to follow nearer the time.

Junior Box Leagues - Restarting from 1st May.

These are for children who are 11 and over. They will be put into boxes with players of a similar ability and you arrange a time convenient for both of you to play the match. If your child is interested in playing please text me on 07940 419655.

Junior Week/Junior Club Championships

Junior week takes place from Monday 29th July to Saturday 3rd August this year. Watch this space for more information.

Finally 2023-2024 has been a great year and all of the children have come on in leaps and bounds. The coaching team is really looking forward to helping the children improve even more in 2024-2025.
