Jack Telling's Fun Friday - 1st August

Hi Everyone

On Friday 1st August (This Friday) we will be raising money to help Jack Telling (One of our Juniors who helps with both the Adult & Junior Coaching Programmes and also plays in the Men's Teams) fund his 4 week expedition to Kenya in 2026.

He will be working hands-on in 3 majorly deprived communities in kenya, helping with vital projects like building schools, houses, installing water wells, supporting animal welfare and conservation initiatives - creating lasting change in line with the UN's sustainable Development Goals.

The Tennis events during the day are all full but over lunchtime (12pm - 2pm) the events below will be happening.

Alison & Gary’s Topspin Cafe - 12.15pm-2pm serving BBQ burgers and hot dogs - (Please see menu below). The bar will also be open.

Cake/Dessert Sale - homemade strawberry & cream cake, chocolate brownie, chocolate chip cookies & fruity flapjacks will be on sale for a donation of your choice.

Guess How Many Sweets in the Jar - £1 a guess - the winner receives the jar with the sweets.

Guess How Many Balls - £1 a guess - the winner receives a tube of tennis balls and a box of chocolates.

Find the Hidden Racket Game - £1 to guess where the racket is hidden on the board - the winner receives a tube of tennis balls and a box of chocolates.

Junior Lucky Dip Bags - £2 a bag which contain a few party-bag style toys.
